In 2013, a property developer wanted to extend and fully refurbish a dated bungalow introducing all new modern feature to obtain the best resale price possible. The work included rear extension, bathrooms, kitchen, and complete redecoration both inside and out.

As architectural designer and having a background in property development, selected to take on the planning, building regulations and general project management.

Key tasks within the project included:

  • Creating initial layout designs for the project
  • Obtaining planning and building regulation approval
  • Producing working drawings to enable the client to obtain prices from their recommended builders
  • Overseeing the implementation of the build, ensuring an exceptional finish to the property

Successfully completed the project on time and on budget. The client was very happy with the professionalism demonstrated over the course of the project and, following the renovation, the client was able to sell the property at an increase in price of over 30%.
